A Patent Leather Layer Appears On The Nike Air Max 95 OG

With over a dozen colorways (and counting) of the Air Max 95 OG awaiting us throughout 2025, expect Nike to spread these in-between the coveted “OG” style colorways of the revived model. Those who don’t have strong ties to that original gradient will have plenty to choose from, including this Patent Leather take that injects a level of sleek elegance to a street-valid sneaker.

Going nearly all-black, Nike injects the nighttime shade from top to bottom. The construction is largely a flat leather, save a strip of patent leather on the upper crest of the gradient layering. Nike also adds in hits of reflective for that must-have visibility; you’ll see the panels bounce light back on the heel-strip, sternum on the tongue, lace loop eyelets, and that piping above the aforementioned patent detail.
